“Works with Otterbox Commuter case? I want to know if the male end of this cable clears the silicone case hole of my Otterbox Commuter case I use with my iPhone 4S. Some extension cables are too big to allow the male end to plug into the phone with the Otterbox cas installed.”

• Worked for my s4 in the otter box so I assume it would be same for I phone

• It should in my experience otter box gives a good size opening for headphone jack.

• unfortunately when using the extension cable, you need to remove most iphone cases to get the male end to connect properly

• I do not think it will. The otter boxes, which are nice and really durable, do not work well with plugging headphone jacks in. You think they would research the product more and make it work.
