“Will this work like my USB cable that came with my iPod touch when I bought it? My other cable is falling apart since it has the inner wires exposed (and is covered with duct tape) so I want to know before I buy this cable that it will work with no problems.”

Please remember to always to unplug when not in use. Don't yank on the cables.. Treat them like eggs.
