QuestionI have an H/P chrome laptop that doesn't have a HDMI port but has USB ports. Will this device work so i can connect my lap top to my tv? My tv has a HDMI port. I bought a HDMI cable without knowing my laptop did not have a HDMI port.

- Answer Hello, thank you for you question. This adapter allows you to connect a laptop via "DisplayPort" to HDMI, if your computer has that kind of connection available it should work fine. Ruben O. -Dynex support.

QuestionI have a tablet I'm trying to connect to my laptop. It can show my computer screen on it by connecting with HDMI, but my laptop does not have an HDMI Port. Is this adapter compatible with tablet devices? Will I be able to use it to connect my two devices?

- Answer This is only an adapter to allow one type of connector to join with a very different one. If you want or need a Capture Card, you need to buy a Capture Card.

- Answer The adapter is not a USB adapter. If you have HDMI in your AIO, find out what kind of monitor you have and find a HDMI to DVI, or HDMI to VGA adapter. If the monitor takes HDMI, then use a straight HDMI cable to connect.

- Answer No, it needs a device to play the video from the flash drive. The best option for your situation is to use a Google Chromecast in the HDMI port, and project from a nearby computer.

- Answer If your monitor does not have a display port (it's not a USB adapter) but it has an HDMI port, you can use this converter plug.

- Answer For your PS4, you just need a ordinary HDMI cable to plug into the PS4 to the TV. If the TV has VGA or DVI, you need a HDMI to VGA or DVI adapter.

- Answer No. It's a Display Port to HDMI adapter. You can't use it via USB.
