“docking station just bought the docking station for apple ipod. when the ipod is in the docking station it does not play music into my stereo system. however if i remove the ipod and connect the miniplug directly into the ipod it plays fine. there does not seem to be a connection for the miniplug into the ipod when it is in the docking station ?”

What model of iPod do you use? This comes with 6 different adapters to fit the docking station, so it can be used with various models of the iPod.
