A:AnswerYou'll need a drill to drill the pilot holes for the lag bolts that mount the assembly to the dimensional lumber framing behind the drywall. Drywall anchors are insufficient to hold the weight of the TV. If you attempt to torque the lag bolts into the studs without the right size pilot hole, the head of the lag bolt will sheer off. The assembly comes with a wide variety of mounting screws for the flat screen TV, and it works flawlessly on my Toshiba 50" 50L711U18. It's easy to install.

A:AnswerYes it should I just recently used it for my daughters TV she has a 40 inch. Came out great use a stud finder so you can mount it up sturdy, hardware is included but you still need you own tool to drill holes and all that fun stuff.
A:AnswerWithout knowing the model of your Dynex TV and its specifications we cannot say for sure if they are compatible. That being said, this mount supports a VESA mounting pattern up to 400 X 400mm and supports up to 88 pounds. You will need to double check these numbers with what your TV specs are.
