• This device simply charges upon plugging in without any buttons. No buttons exist on this device.

• No, if the unit is charged enough it should charge your phone as soon as it is connected.

• It automatically turns on once you plug something into it, which is why you've gotta be careful to not plug in your device as well or leave it charging your device past 100% because it cuts off when it's dead or when there isn't a usb plugged in.

• No there is no switch. Once you connect the charger to the phone it automatically starts.
