• Not sure why this question, but this is a universal plug in to your car's what used to be the cigarette lighter. It converts 12VDC to 5VDC with a USB port output. You still need to go from USB to whatever type port your Samsung Galaxy 6 has with a cable (which should have come with your Galaxy unit). So, yes it will work IF you have the correct cable (you should) and the Galaxy is a standard 5 something volt input.
