• It will accommodate almost any plug type on both sides (wall and appliance), so physically it will work fine. But be aware its NOT a voltage changer, so only use it if your device can handle whatever voltage is supplied at the wall.

• it works with cords that have a USB adaptor on one end, so maybe! i don't know anything about that mp3 player.
