• Hi Denise, this is Kelly with Dyson. This 1.6" Airwrap barrel is only for the Airwrap styler; this will not attach to the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. The Supersonic uses magnetic attachments, while the attachments for the Airwrap will twist/click into place. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
