        Answer

It will push air, or heat air. But it doesn't not have a way to cool air. Typically fans can reduce the perceived temperature by 4 degrees.

          Answer

It's 1500W same as any other heater. It is not more efficient when it comes to energy use. The economics come into play when you think about the ability to set a temperature. The heater will turn on and heat up the room to that exact temp (I verified this with an external thermometer) and shut off when that temp is reached to prevent overheating a space and wasting money.

            Answer

A single unit would be hard pressed to heat your 500 sq ft apartment but two might do the job.

The US version is specifically rated for 120 Voltage AC, 60 Hertz, with 12.5 Amps maximum. That comes out to using a maximum of 1,500 Watts.

Hi Linda, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson AM09. Dyson machines are built for use in the country in which it is purchased in. Therefore, when purchasing from the US stores, it will be US voltage which is 110-120 volts. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Support
