how do you clean the inside of dirt canister null

It just opens at the bottom and dumps into the trash!

Hello Cindy, This is Dan with Dyson. You can separate the clear bin from the cyclone by opening the bin door and pressing the gray button you see at the top of the clear plastic. Once these are separated, we advise using compressed air and a cloth/brush for cleaning both parts. Best wishes, Dan
