Way more attachments than the V6 and a better color for us guys anyhow as I already hearing it from others about the lavender Shark. I am beyond impressed with the DC39 because of the ease of use, the attachments and the power this vacuum provides. I moved into my place the 1st of February this year and haven't had a vacuum until a few days ago. With numerous days of rain and mud being tracked in the house, dirt was building up underneath the rug. After 2 complete runs I didn't even have to pull the rug to sweep underneath. Its a black shag type rug which I haven't seen this black since I first purchased it. I have been debating spending so much on a vacuum but I am confident I will never need another one.

I am happy with the suction and how light this vacuum is. I do not like how cheap the wand and hose feels, worrys me they will break. I have used the kenmore canister for 10 plus years and prefer the canister model. The dyson canister is easier to pick up but doesnt roll behind me like my kenmore did, it is top heavy and flips. I like that it is bagless but hate that the drop bin is concave leaving debris in it if you dont really shake it- there is no way to completely empty it withour some form of a mess. Honestly I am giving it 4 stars for the weight and suction power but I really expected better in overall design from Dyson.

This was my first "more expensive" vacuum purchase and after reading many, many reviews - I am so happy I went for it. I use it on tile floor and an area rug and so far, it gets the job done. I love that it is so easy to attach and detach, the cord goes in and out of the machine automatically at the press of a button and the suction is great. I looked at a more expensive Dyson model and found it to be heavier and harder to maneuver than this one. It gets into the corners and the head of the vacuum twists and turns into different angles to get those tough areas around the baseboard. I am very happy with my purchase.

This vacuum picks up so much more than our old one. I wasn't sure over the canister versus the upright. I went with the canister, the only downside I see is that I think the head of of upright was larger. the vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. one thing that is a bit strange, is it is called multi-floor vacuum and then on the instructions it says the main vacuum head should not be used on hard wood floors. :/

This is really very powerful...It vacuums everything fast and compare to most of the other vacuum brands it can considered as silent ;)

I bought this model because it had a narrower brush head than the next expensive model. I felt it would be easier to maneuver around things and it is. It isn't too narrow though and works well for my large open floor plan home. It has excellent suction and is very easy to empty.

This vacuum is great. Sucks up nicely and is so light weight. Easy to move around and just makes vacuuming the house fun. Makes me want to clean more often which is a plus. I love me a good, clean house.

I really like this Dyson vacuum, it's light, easy to use, compact, and has powerful suction. I have a larger Dyson but this one is perfect for my hardwood floors and smaller carpeted areas.

This vacuum replaced an older Miele, and it has been so good. Excellent suction, nice size for a small NYC apartment, reasonable price and NO bags. Definitely highly recommend it.

I bought this vacuum based on the great reviews and although a little more pricy than other in the market, this is an excellent product: small, powerful, easy to clean and store. I am so happy with my new Dyson and don't regret for a minute having made this choice.

We have 2 vacuums. Our first is the Dyson upright, With all the dogs we do have we opt out of the Dyson for pets. Reading reviews we find the "regular" is just as good. My house is half carpet and half wood floors. I purchased the canister for the wood floors. It has great power, and does a much better job than the Oreck canisters we would previously get. I purchased the Articulating Hard Floor Tool by Dyson. This tool is the best. Better than the pet hair tool.

This vacuum cleaner is amazing. It works great on both hardwood floors and carpet. Great suction and the flexible pieces makes it easy to clean hard to reach spots. Well worth the price.

I bought this based on the reviews given regarding hardwood floors. It is excellent for that purpose. I also love the retractable power cord. It is lightweight, handles easily, and does not need messy bags.

This is a great vacuum with great suction. Easy to pull around. Only downside I have had is the floor attachment is a bit of a struggle for me to turn easily. My wrist gets tired. Maybe I will get used to it after I use it more.

Overall, this may be the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever purchased. Years ago I purchased a Rainbow vacuum cleaner which I still own. It is huge, bulky and uses water to catch the dirt. Needless to say, this is very cumbersome. This Dyson has GREAT suction and is very light weight and easy to use. We are about to sit the Rainbow vacuum cleaner on the curb.

Easy to use and setup in minutes. Not easy to store, this the reason not an excellent product. Bulky and not easy to put away. The electrical cord could also be longer.

I had a cordless Dyson before that I loved. Needed to find a canister and knew that Dyson was the way to go. Read lots of reviews between the animal vs. multi-floor. Ended up going with the Multi-floor and love it. So much suction that it required 2 hands when doing my rugs, but great on all floor types. Love that the arm extends to get higher places. Didn't purchase the warranty, because Dyson has a great 5 year warranty already. Can't say enough good things.

Saw mixed reviews regarding Dyson. Initially purchased a Electrolux but found it to be too heavy; although suction was amazing. The dyson is the perfect compromise as it is easy to use, extremely light, and has good power. It is above average in cost and the materials appear to be less durable, time will tell. Therefore I give this product 4 stars because I am not sure it's a "good value", but meets my immediate needs.

This is my second Dyson vacuum cleaner. The first one lasted 15 years without having to be worked on once. I chose the canister vac this time because it is easier to get under tighter spaces & much lighter to carry. I stuck with Dyson because I got every penny's worth of use out of the first one & then some. This is a brand I know I can rely on.

This has great suction, and the power head is so light weight and easy to use, I'm delighted. The sound of the machine is so much quieter than my old Kenmore the pets don't seem to be bothered at all by it. I chose the canister model because I need to get under a lot of things, and with the smaller beater bar it's so easy and fast. Love, love, love this new one.
