• Works pretty well on hardwood floors/tile. It does have a stronger suction on rugs, but this gets the job done on the wood floors. We got ours on sale. It was worth the sale price, I wouldn't pay full price.

• requires a bit of maneuvering to turn off brushes when going from carpet to hardwood

• It works really well on any surface, if you have issues with the attachments the vacuum comes with there are others that can be purchased separately that will get the job done
