How do I empty the bag less reservoir null

You press the button on the canister which ejects the reservoir, then on the reservoir you press another button and the bottom will open, you can then shake it out. There is also another button which enables you to remove the whole plastic casing. But be warned! You cannot clean the filter which is in the reservoir, which means that after a while there is a smelly fine powder that collects and smells terribly every time you use the vacuum.
