Q: QuestionHow cool would this make a vehicle? Would it cool my car like my vehicle ac would?
Asked by Brit.
- A:Answer The Dyson Cool Me will not lower the temperature of the air. It just moves air like an ordinary fan. However, it filters the air that it moves. It is not an Air Conditioner. It does not have a compressor, coil or radiator.

Q: QuestionWill this cool a room or does it have to be pointed directly at you?
Asked by Mamag.
- A:Answer Hey, Mamag! We have only had our fan a few Summer days so far, but it does help to noticeably cool our nursery. We turn it on as the upstairs of our home begins to heat, leave the door shut, and it is definitely cooler than other rooms upstairs when it is time for bed. It is a very nice fan.

Q: Questionwould this increase the electric bill compared to just using a regular fan?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson BP01 Pure Cool Me would use the same energy as any other regular fan or purifier. The cost of your electric would vary depending on your costs within your municipality, so we cannot comment specifically on whether or not you'd see any type of increase in your bill. Q: QuestionHow loud is it?
Asked by Whitney.
- A:Answer It's very quiet. Set at its top speed, the only thing I can hear is the rush of air movement. At half speed, it creates a gentle breeze with no sound that I can detect. I bought mine specifically to control climate in my home theater, which uses a couple of kilowatt of power. I never notice the noise - if any. I wanted to avoid a separate A/C unit, and the room requires cooling to be comfortable during use. This fan does the job nicely and also blends in with the decor. It's pricey (as are all Dyson products) but I don't think you'll find comparable performance elsewhere.

Q: QuestionIs this only used as a fan/purifier? Or, can it be used like the other Dyson purifiers and only be used to clean air in the room, and not to blow air on me?
Asked by Che.
- A:Answer I use the Dyson Cool Me as a Fan and Air Filter. It can direct a strong air stream horizontally in a sweeping motion or blow upward in a cone. The filter seems to help hold down my allergies a little.

Q: QuestionWhy can’t I find the filter for BP01? I bought two filters from your website that showed the table top fan from dyso band they sent the wrong ones
Asked by Ellie.

The filters for the Dyson Pure Cool Link™ TP02 purifying tower fan, Pure Cool Link™ TP01 purifying tower fan and the Pure Cool Me™ BP01 personal purifying fan are all the same. There is one filter that fits into all three of these machines. We hope this helps! Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionI purchased one of these in July. But I cannot find the owner's manual. I need to shut of cooling and only use the purifier. I guess I need an operation manual.
Asked by Glogirl.
- A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson BP01 Pure Cool Me will always be blowing air, as that's how the air gets purified. When the machine is on, air is drawn in through the bottom of the machine, purified through the filter and that air is expelled in to the room. There isn't a way to alter the temperature on the Pure Cool Me. You can learn more about your machine on the Dyson website.
