“Upright vacuum stability, when using accessories I'm currently debating in purchasing this Dyson - Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Bagless Upright Vacuum. Is there a deficiency in the vacuum stability, when having unit in upright position, then while using the extension hosing, the vacuum falling over?”

The hose is so tightly fitted that you barely get any reach. So you constantly fighting the vacuum against the hose. The suction on the hose is nonexistent. Plan vacuuming it's great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had any stability problems while using the hose with the vacuum upright. It has a very long hose and I make sure to stretch it out and hold the hose in one hand while using the attachment/wand with the other. The only stability problem I've had, and it just takes some getting used to, is that when you are using the vacuum and go to stand it up, you have to make sure it catches securely or the handle will fall down. It isn't difficult, and I no longer even think about it, but it did take some practice at first. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never had a problem with my previous slim model but my new bigger Dyson falls over EVERY time I use the hose (even in the locked upright position). I’m not loving this model as much as my first model.

I only had it tip over once but I had it at full extension and then pulled some more so it was my fault. It's actually a bit sturdier than it seems.

The weight is centralized and balanced by the ball design so the vacuum will not fall over while stretching the hose for use with the wand extension.
