Is this good on thick carpet? null

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean does feature 180 air watts of powerful suction power. Dyson machines have higher levels of suction power - while this works for a majority of carpets, there are select fibers that may not be compatible. The air seal would be limited due to the suction power of the machine, from the result of the high suction and the self-adjusting feature. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

YES, it does work on thick rugs; however, it has strong suction so it takes a little extra effort. Overall this is an AMAZING Vacuum.
