    • Answer Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball. This vacuum uses our latest cyclone technology which is the Cinetic cyclone technology. It is more efficient than previous models in that the cyclone tips oscillate at up to 5,000 Hz, separating the microscopic dust that clogs most vacuums.   • QuestionHow does this differ from the Cinetic big ball animal or the Cinetic multi floor? Is it the same vacuum just different accessories?

    • Answer Hi Evan, this is Carissa with Dyson. We are pleased to clarify the differences between our Cinetic models. Truly the only difference is the tools that come with the machine. Each Cinetic Dyson will come with the combination and stair tool. Our Cinetic Animal will come with our exclusive Tangle Free Turbine tool, which is perfect for picking up hair and not getting tangled in the bristles. Our Cinetic Multi Floor only comes with the combination and stair tools. Our Cinetic Total Clean will come with our Multi angle, great for getting on top of book shelves or ceiling fans and our Stiff brush, great for stuck on dirt or in the car and our mattress tool which works for upholstery.     • Answer Hi Jane, this is Carissa with Dyson. Our Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean Upright vacuum is the only vacuum cleaner with strong suction and no filters to wash or replace. Dyson is committed to lifetime filter technology, this means the filters are designed to last the life of the machine, when maintained as instructed in the user guide. Our Cinetic motorized cleaner head has 2,520 stiff nylon bristles, which drive deep into carpet to remove hair and stubborn debris, as well as picking up fine dust from hard floors.     • Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're happy to go over these two models with you. Our Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean upright vacuum features ball technology, with a central steering mechanism, for greater control and no awkward moves. They are also out first machines to feature no filters to wash or replace, thanks to the oscillating Dyson Cinetic tips located in the cyclone pack. The Dyson Cinetic is a heavier machine; one thing that you may notice, however, is the brush bar of your machine may help to move the machine along the carpet due to the natural rotation of the brush bar. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 was engineered for homes with pets, with features that dig out dirt, hair and allergens. Dyson Ball Animal 2 does feature the strongest suction among our uprights - 270 air watts, for tough tasks across all floors. Dyson Ball Animal 2 does indeed have two filters, and has been certified to be asthma and allergy friendly, along with having whole-machine HEPA filtration. If you have thicker, more plush or even shag-type pile carpeting in your home, the Ball Animal 2 might provide too much suction for your flooring. This can cause the machine to seem hard-to-push, as the self-adjusting cleaner head will seal in suction. The machine offered on the Dyson website is the Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy model. The difference will be tools that come in the box. The Dyson.com model will include the multi-angle brush, mattress tool, carbon fiber soft dusting brush, reach under tool, tangle-free turbine tool, combination tool, stair tool and a tool bag.   • QuestionIf I purchase a Dyson, will I be able to plug it into Thailand's 220V system?

    • Answer Hello Auswat, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed.   However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty.
