• I believe so. You could use the hard floor button that turns the roller off and it is just suction. The button is right beside the power button on the handle. Hope this was what you were asking.

• Hi Jim, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can shut off the brush bar on the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean vacuum. There is a button for the brush bar, right next to the power button on the machine. Every time the vacuum is powered on and reclined, the brush bar will be on.
