We would not recommend that you purchase a Dyson machine in the US for use abroad or attempt to convert it as this will invalidate the guarantee and it would not meet the appropriate legislation in an alternate territory. The guarantee with a US-bought product only covers the product for use in the US. Dyson products are guaranteed in the country in which they are purchased, and are not guaranteed for use in every country because the specifications differ.
