Hi Johnny, this is Kelly with Dyson. The flexing plates on the Dyson Corrale measure 1.02 inches x 3.54 inches. While this can be used on shorter hair, you'll want to ensure there's enough length so that your hair can be gripped between those plates, to achieve the best results.
