Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. It's unusual to hear that your Cyclone V10 Animal did not include a user guide in the box with the machine. You can access the user manual for your machine on the Dyson website here: https://www.dyson.com/support/journey/guides/343783-01.html?machineId=343783-01 That link will also show you a great "Getting Started" video, showing what the tools/attachments for your model are best used for.
