A:AnswerDyson HP01 is no different; that is, when you use it as an air purifier. As an air purifier, it’s maximum wattage is 44W. If you run it 24/7 – generally, HPo1 is turned on all the time – it will use about 1 kWh per day. And that’s if it’s at the maximum fan speed setting all the time, even during the night.
Dyson HP01 is also capable of functioning as a space heater. The cooling effect of Hot+Cool is just a fan (not an air conditioner). The ‘Hot’ part, however, is a true heater. And for heating, you need some serious wattage.
As a space heater, Dyson HP01 can draw as much as 1,575W. That’s 35x more than when it functions as an air purifier
A:AnswerHello Jack, this is Kelly with Dyson. We apologize if your question wasn't answered before. The HP01 operates at 1500 watts. It's a high powered appliance, and we would recommend using this device on its own circuit breaker in your home.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The HP01 model you have does not have an auto or night mode, so the temperature on the display will not dim. If you have the target room temperature set at 72 degrees and the machine reaches that target, you will notice that the machine stays on, but air will not be expelled from the loop, until the temperature dips below the target temperature, at which time your machine will begin to heat the room again. We hope this helps!

A:AnswerHi there Kay, this is Tia from Dyson. The Dyson purifier fans will clean the air in any size space. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a space of 139 square feet, the machine will purify the room in 25 minutes.
Thanks for your interest in Dyson technology!
