• A:Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool Link and Pure Hot + Cool purifier fans will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a room of 139ft², the machine will purify the room in 25 min. The time to heat the room will be similar, but can vary based on factors such as current room temperature, the number of windows and doors and other environmental factors. Q: QuestionIs this product a fire hazard at all? I would be using this in my bedroom which is carpeted to help clean the air.

• A:Answer Hello Nic, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question about the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. For safety, this appliance is fitted with automatic cut-out switches that operate if the appliance tips over or overheats. Q: QuestionIn a 20 x 15 x 10 room how much cooler or hotter can it make it? How is it as an a/c or heater? Obviously id blows air making you feel cooler or hotter but can it change the temp? if not which model can?

• A:Answer It will change the temp of the room when using the hot mode, but acts more like a fan on the cool setting. The room will not get cool like it would when using an air conditioner

• A:Answer It is always purifying the air as it pulls room air through it's HEPA filter. The only reason I see to not do this would be to extend the life of the filter. It does track air quality so it might be surprising to actually see what the air quality is as it does change throughout the course of a day, week, etc.
