• A:Answer No. Heat or cool needs to be enabled for purification to work. Cool is not that cool, just reusing the air so if you set to AUTO it will be good.

• A:Answer No. Heat or cool needs to be combined with purification. You can set to AUTO for it to purify and decide if it needs cool or heat, but it will usually just cool. And it's not like it's very cold air.
