• After speaking with Dyson Support, (when trying to determine Battery-Pack Charger), they informed me, that there are two (2) Versions of v6 Cordless Vacuums; the Original v6 (approximately 2-3 years ago, and the more recent, current v6 Models.. The "Original/Legacy" v6 Model was slightly less powerful, both in suction and battery-life. The Current v6 Models (Animal/Absolute/Total-Clean) all utilize the same Motor-Head, Battery, and Attachments.. Basically, "parts" are compatible/inter-changeable between Original/Legacy v6 Vacuums; and "parts" are compatible between the current v6 Vacuums. However, "Legacy-Model Parts" are NOT compatible with "Current-Model Vacuums." (DC-31/34/35/44 vs. DC-58/59/61/62)..

• Hello there, This is Dan with Dyson. Aside from the direct-drive cleanerhead that comes with the V6 Absolute, all other attachments will work properly with the V6 Total Clean. Best wishes, Dan
