“the motor gets real hot during use, are you supposed to let it cool down after awhile?”

• the owners' manual does state that it needs to cool off, and to stop using it until it does cool off.

• Hi it's Vince with Dyson. It may be helpful to use the unit with the Max mode disengaged. To change to normal mode, engage the trigger, press and release the "Max" button on the back of the machine. The "Max" button light will turn off and you will hear the machine change tone to indicate it is now running in normal mode.
