Does the V8 animal filter has to be changed? null

Hello Sam, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8 Animal will have two filters; one that sits inside of the cyclone, and the HEPA filter on the back of the motor. You will want to wash these once a month. With regular maintenance and care, you shouldn't ever have to replace them. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Not it doesn't get changed but the manufacturer instructions say to wash it out once a month of optimum performance.

Nope! You just need to wash it and then let it dry

There is no traditional filter. Just a bin that collects the material and then you empty it. Super easy.
