In accordance with safety standards, Thermacell Rechargeable Battery-powered products should not be operated while plugged in. The charging circuit disables when the battery is full, so leaving the repeller plugged in once it is fully charged will not increase the battery life or run time. Therefore, Thermacell does recommend that you unplug the repeller during extended times of nonuse (longer than 2 months).
