“Does the thermostat work without WiFi or Is WiFi always required?”

• Thermostat works without WiFi, it will be in a manual mode that means Alexa does not work and the smart phone app does not work.

• You will need WiFi for software updates at the very least. I'm not sure if it can be set up without Wifi. If you don't have WiFi you're paying a lot of money for basic functionality that you can get from an inexpensive thermostat

• Yes it still works without WiFi (turn Temp up and down and schedules etc) obviously the Alexa and other online functions won’t work without WiFi
