“Will this work to replace a wireless thermostat?”

• Not sure what you mean by “wireless”. This thermostat requires there to be thermostat wiring in the spot your are connecting it to. You can’t place it anywhere you want and make it work, it will have to be hard wired.

• Yes. You can control it over the internet via the Ecobee app on your phone or through Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Homekit. Lots of options.
