It comes with an xtra sensor that tells what temp that room is it will turn heater on & circulate air flow to even out tempature if you have more cold rooms you can buy more sensors & put them in those rooms we had trouble with our room because of fireplace in the same room as our thermostat so the back room was always cold we put this in & it stays within 1degree now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn’t really control different rooms. It averages out the temperature of the house and adjusts the temp based on the room your in and what you want the temp to be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes with a separate sensor which can be put in another room and the comfort settings can be set to that room; example: if thermostat is in front hall and you use a family room most of the time when you are at home the extra sensor can be put in the family room and set to the “at home” setting for that sensor. Only problem is like in my case, my den is colder than the rest of the house so if I set the den to 70 degrees the room with the thermostat may end up warmer-72. So far it has worked well. The system can handle several sensors. It can be tricky to set up the first time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sort of, if you have the remote sensors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ecobee averages the temperature on the sensors and thermostat, unless FollowMe mode is enabled where it will prioritize the sensor where people are present.
