I believe that will be a question for the owner of the condo or the apartment if you ask them I'm sure they can probably accommodate but a lot of times they're going to want to have the maintenance guy install it but as long as the wires are there it can be easily put on the wall and then if you move out can be easily removed and the old one replaced in its spot
