QuestionThe specifications say the run time is 10 minutes. Is this correct? It only runs 10 minutes? Does it clean a room in 10 minutes? Or goes back to charge in 10 minutes?

- Answer Min goes back but if it takes longer to clean the floor you can rerun it after it charges

- Answer Mike - thanks for your question! You are absolutely correct, with this M88 that's all you have to do to have it clean the upstairs as well - consider it both your upstairs & downstairs maid! Be sure to take the charging doc upstairs as well, and place it somewhere where DEEBOT can find it, and get home should it run out of juice while cleaning that level of your home.

QuestionThe DEEBOT M88 has an optional mopping attachment which can be filled with water for wet mopping or left empty for dry mopping. How much for the optional mopping attachment? Is it included in the m88 box? The water tank also include in this box or not

- Answer The DM88 and M88 are the same model and do have an optional mopping plate. An international power converter would be required for the unit to work with 220V.

QuestionI am looking for a Robot Vacuum that does not need to be set up or controlled through an app. I would like to be able to turn it on and let it go. Is there a specific one I should be looking at or possibly a cordless upright would work better for me? TY

- Answer This robotic vac will work without using an app. you can control it with the buttons on the unit itself, or with the supplied remote control.

QuestionI have a new large rug that is extremely soft and fairly thick. A regular vacuum cleaner will not run over it either forward or backward. I cannot pull an upright vacuum either way. Do you think this robot vacuum will do the job for me?

- Answer Dear Desperate - sounds like a fabulously plush rug! Sadly, if an upright will not run on it, it is most likely too thick for any robotics vacuum as well. Thanks for considering Ecovacs.

- Answer Great question, no need for a baby gate for this robot, though :) DEEBOT M88, like all of our robots, has sensors to be aware of, and back away from the stairs so as not to fall down and get hurt. Thanks again for your question!
