- Answer This device doesn't work with OTA antenna signals (ATSC). It is designed for demodulating and decoding cable TV signals (QAM). You need the TiVo Edge for OTA (Antenna) instead.

- Answer We use Logitech Harmony remotes to control our TiVo units - a little bit of a learning curve since you may have to scroll to find the equivalent button to the TiVo remote, but they work great.

QuestionHow would geek squad standard protection plan work with a device like this? Being that Tivo seems to be very picky about repairs or replacement of there equipment. How would geek squad protection plan protect me if this unit were to fail?

QuestionWe have cable tv with a TiVo box and remote. I want to turn the TiVo box in and remote to the cable company and buy since I realized they have been charging $17.99 a month for their box. Can I just switch them out and it work as before?
