A:AnswerYes. All the main Eero routers can have others or add ons to create a mesh system. Just pick up another, plug it in, and click add Eero on the app
A:AnswerYES!
In fact, your question prompted me to finally connect my own individual add-on (I bought it about a week ago but it's been on my to-do list). It took about five minutes, including the time to open the package and find an available outlet to plug it into. I don't need it to extend my network - though it's doing that too - but as a bridge so I can work on machines that don't have WiFi; I put it next to my desk, where I already had great reception. Your mileage may vary.
When you open the eero app, your network name is at the top of the screen; there's a + sign to the right of it. Press that, and a menu pops up asking what you want to add. Select "Add or replace an eero device", then Add, and you'll run through the same wizard as when you first set up your network. Assuming that the location you choose has good reception, you'll be done in less than a minute from that point. (If not, all bets are off - you might have to move to various corners of the room to find a good location.)
Enjoy!
A:AnswerIf you follow the instructions on how to setup each device it should setup automatically. Spectrum is very easy to setup the eero system routers. I don’t have any problems with connection anymore.
A:AnswerA starter package will come in sets of 3. This will be enough to cover 5,000 sqft. The first eero will act as the router (it is plugged into the modem) The other two you can place throughout the home.
A:AnswerYes you can. These can be used to create a "mesh" network that helps simplify creating a whole house network with just one network name and password. they are very simple to set up and configure.
A:AnswerI have the same all in one Arris modem and router through DirecTV. My goal was to extend my internet downstairs.
I purchased the eero wifi mesh for about a month now, and so far so good. All my smart devices downstairs are connected with strong signal. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes. They work great. I have 1 for an 800 sq ft apartment. We used to have a 1500 sq ft home and had several throughout the house. You can always add another one if you need to. I don’t pay monthly router fee to internet company. This little thing does the job.
A:AnswerJust plug the Eero number 2 into a Regular 110V wall plug, They will come on and find the original and tell you if you are close enough or need to move the unit you plugged into the wall. (then on to he same for Eero number 3 )
A:AnswerOn my Eero mesh units, there was ho way to mount these on a wall. You could easily mount a couple brackets or a little shelf you can buy at a hardware store or Home center
but there is no mount on the actual mesh unit.
A:AnswerYou need a modem which Soectrum provides for free and then you would use an ethernet cord to plug this into the modem Then place the other two around the house using blue tooth for max coverage.
A:AnswerRouter on its own. Awesome device. We bought a three pack plus one single. We have them plugged in around the house in various rooms of 3200 sf. Internet is great.
A:AnswerSpeaking for my personal experience with this system, I have already unplugged it once, when I was moving some stuff around, and another time, the kids tripped a breaker when there was too much stuff running in one room, and both times, the mesh network was back up and stable in a minute or two.
A:AnswerFor what it's worth, I live in a two-level, 1100 square foot unit with an open design plan and have 4 units (though one is behind a closed door.) And so, if I had to choose between 1 or 3, I'd suggest that you'll be more satisfied if there are > 1 eeros.
