This system will help, as long as you have electrical outlets to plug in the mesh transceivers along the path you are trying to extend your coverage through. One will get hooked up to the modem, one would (ideally) be somewhere between your man-cave and the main house, and the other one would most likely be in the center of the main house. This is based on not having seen your house, but based on your description, that would be a fairly safe bet as far as the setup, You can always play around with the positioning a bit, once you have them all connected and communicating with each other.

I’d suggest finding a way to run an Ethernet cable from your main internet source to a repeater or booster outside the cinder blocks and see how that helps with reception in your house. Physical obstructions like cinder block walls and electrical appliances can all cause interference with wi fi signals.

He had to do something to the router that I doubt I would have figured out to do and did an analysis of the house before and after to make sure it was receiving throughout. We had a lot of brick to go through and we bought the 3 pack system and works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue in our home. Modem in the hubby's office/man cave. Totally unable to stream with Amazon FireStick in two bedrooms across the hallway, constantly having to unplug firestick and check internet connection. Purchased the eero and put in man cave and only put one other eero in one bedroom. No issues after that. Watching movies and shows all the way through with zero issues, even if all doors are closed or not. We did put the other eero in the living area for when family members are over and using their tablets, phones, etc. Works great.
