I connected my Eero Pro 6 directly to the Spectrum Modem, disconnected the Spectrum Wireless router and put it in the closet (don't lose it cause they'll want it back after the lease)... You will notice better download and upload speeds when you remove Spectrum's OEM Wireless Router. Spectrum will do their best to convince you to keep using their wireless router, but the truth is that when using their Spectrum Wireless Router, they track and monitor the unit (performance and network maintenance). Eero does a better job at security and network management right out of the box.
