Thank you for the inquiry! This is a great question and after reviewing model number EIDW5705PS, I see to unlock the dishwasher you would press and hold the delay start pad until the indicator light goes out. If this reset does unlock the door, there could be a communication error in the control board and I would recommend contacting the manufacture for service. Hope this helps! ~Best Regards~
