Yeah, I thought the same thing. I actually purchased the last one of these in the Atlanta area, and just for the heck of it I've been watching this item online. I had been watching this one for months while I researched what new range we were going to go with. I finally went to pull the trigger on it and ended up buying it in store, using my 10% off coupon. As luck would have it, I was ordering the last one in the Atlanta area (as shown in their stock records, from the Suwanee distribution hub), that was actually on its way to return to vendor as a close out for the model year. Got a great price because I used a 10% off coupon on top of the already massively discounted (by 4 benjamins) to get it at a final price of less than a grand! So yeah, I've been wondering why their still showing this as an active product on their site, when in fact it is no longer available even if you take the item number into their store and have them look it up. My only thought is that maybe it is good search engine optimization to leave old content on the site for all of the old incoming links and search engine indexes?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Technically, according to Premier's specs/manual, the BAK100OP is compatible with off gird LP use. It has a small battery compartment that holds 4 AA batteries in the lower right front toe kick area. No AC required. It is special order, but best buy has it here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/premier-20-freestanding-gas-range-white/6084963.p?id=1218716257603&skuId=6084963
