You Might have a Defective Outer Case , Like my husband did, he has temores & drops things so I bought him a black kids case the holes were not cut out right?? I had to return it to the Geek Squad, they saw what the problem was & fixed it with a New Outer Case!! My husbands would give him a funny message every time he turn on his Amazon Fire 7 & then shut off again!!
