• There is no default. It has 8 interchangeable cables that are compatible with most Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony digital cameras.

• This model comes with interchangeable plugs for Nikon, Canon Sony, and a few others. There isn't a default plug as they are all inserted via 1/8" audio style plug so you just swap out whatever one is needed

• Its actually a proprietary quick connect and disconnect plug that goes into the remote. The other end is a standard USB.
