- Answer Windows 10 is the operating system and does not include Microsoft Office, which is the software suite you need for Word, Excel and Publisher. You can purchase Office 365 to go with it and you will receive a $20 discount for buying it with a computer. The Publisher program will allow you to format what you need.

- Answer You would be best suited to use an external thumb drive or external hard drive to backup all the files on your old computer, then place those on the new computer.
