Most HP (not sure about this model) come with a video editor called PowerDirector (you have to pay for full) but even the what you get is MORE than enough speed and power for the average user and plus unlike the Adobe software, the ability to create a menu for the DVD and burn to DVD or Blu-ray (but the blu-ray feature is a pay feature if I remember right). I think there might also be a Cyberlink Photodirector for photo stuff and yes, Cyberlink is also the same people who make PowerDirector. I can tell you that the computer should do video and photo editing just fine with the powerful stats that it has for it.
