I was wondering the same thing. I’m assuming you will get the most with black ink, I didn’t know that once I purchased this that the other cartridges was regular. I wasn’t a happy camper. I also realized once the smaller cartridges run out the printer won’t allow you to print.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are correct. That is something I have puzzled over each time I buy ink cartridges. I guess I never gave it much thought as I knew what was in the box. That seems to be a question to forward to Epson. I'll try to remember to do that next time I order directly from them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't, and ALL product labeling clearly states that only the black catridge is high yield -- and that the C, M & Y cartridges are normal yield.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the starter cartridges come with when buying the printer are same in physical size, but the ink in it is only at a standard capacity. When you buy only the ink after you have already purchased the printer, those cartridges (except the black one) are physically the same size as original, but high in capacity with more ink in it (I think).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The description does, in fact, state that only the black is high capacity. The XL is shown only on the black. If you look at the box and read the description you can see for yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are right, in an absolute sense. But, the specifications DO state that it is a 4-pack of ink carts, not a 4-pack of XL's. The implication (my guess) is that the ratio of 1-XL black ink to 1-each standard color ink would balance in most home-printing use. You have to also agree, if the Header line was: EPSON - 252-style 4 cartridge combo Ink package Comprised of 1-each Standard Cyan/Magenta/Yellow Cartridges and 1 XL Black ink Cartridge it would be too long as a header. The photo clearly shows what is there. Usually, product used to have the disclaimer, "May Not be as Pictured." You still got a good deal, and you knew what was included. That's what's important.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have NO idea. A printing error, maybe?
