QuestionDoes anyone else have issues with the printer not recognizing the ink cartridge? I actually returned the first printer under warranty for that problem... now it is happening again. I love the printer otherwise.

- Answer the dude claiming he is from EPSON is a liar. I searched and found a photo series for this exact model, and one of the pictures shows a cd inside a cd tray, after a fresh print was completed.

QuestionDoes it matter what color mode I use? RBG or CYMK? Is there one I should use over the other? I'm planning on print art prints.

- Answer Hi Akis, The printer driver uses RGB, so that is probably a better choice. Try setting the printer driver to AdobeRGB and use the same color space in your software, or change the printer settings to "Off (No Color Adjustment)" and create your own ICC profile. QuestionHow quickly does this go through ink? How many 11x14s would you get before replacing in cartridges?

- Answer The cartridges that come with the printer are just for setup, but they have a decent amount of ink. I think they would give you about 20-30 full color 11x14 prints. Plenty for troubleshooting and adjusting your settings. I make prints of paintings so they are pretty saturated. The manufacturers ink cartridges are more full, I don’t have an estimate of how many prints you could get out of them, but hopefully at least 60 full color 11x14s. There’s also XL cartridges available for this printer.
