Hello PaulinaP. The XP-970 is a great printer for printing on specialty paper. Unfortunately, we have not tested watercolor paper on the machine, so your results will vary. The printer supports paper that weighs up to 24 lb (90 g/m2) and uses dye-based inks for your reference. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
