- Answer One year. But if it fails, the replacement printer they send you will be guaranteed only for the few months remaining on the original machine, and not a new full-year warranty. Caution, Epson is now a Philippino company with poorly trained tech and customer service reps.

Questionfor an epson xp-860 how does one remove a spent cartridge? they seem to be locked in place.

- Answer There is a blue button on the top front of the cartridge. Press that button and the cartridge releases for you to pull it out. After it reeases, catch it by the front and back and lift.
