QuestionHow i can add WSD Scanner driver only? i did able to added printer WSD into windows 7. Problem is that i am being forced to use "Epson Scan 2" software which i dont like it and its slow scanning. I want to use WFS only or use TWAIN ability.

- Answer Hit ctrl-p and use windows overide . The Epson software did not work for me.

QuestionJust got the Epson xp-640. Paper prints great, but when I switch to Cassette 1 to do a 5x7 photo, it only prints the first inch of it. It takes forever to finally feed, and when it does, only 1 inch is printed. Any suggestions?

- Answer Try resetting your print settings to default. Also, make sure the correct "glossy" photo paper is being used. You can also try to put only a few sheets of photo paper in the cassette or deleting the printer all together and reinstalling the drivers.

QuestionCan this printer print addresses on #6 3/4 envelopes (which actually measure 6 1/2 inches x 3 5/8 inches)? I bought an HP printer last year and was VERY dismayed to later discover it will not print on that sized envelope.

- Answer Nope. I had the XP-630 and it used the same ink cartridges as the XP-640 - the 410 cartridges.

- Answer Yes it does work with the MacBook Pro. I have the Retina display 13 inch and it works when it is plugged in and also over the wireless connection. Hope this helped.

- Answer I do not have an iPhone, but it appears based on the Epson Web Site: http://www.epson.com.au/connect/wireless-printing-compatibility.asp that all of the iPhones are compatible with the Epson Expression XP 640. Hope this information is helpful.

- Answer Go to maintenance on your printer and do a head cleaning and a nozzle check as your ink may have dried on the nozzles. Hope this helps.

- Answer I would recommend looking at your paper settings. If it is set to print photos, then it will probably use that ink.
