• The serial number is right below the ink cartridges. You will see it towards the lower left after you lift up the top of the printer in order to replace an ink cartridge. It is not the top you lift up to scan but the lower level you lift to replace ink. The left side of the printer has a notch you can grip to lift the correct level.
